Patron Experience Manager – The Public Theater seeks an experienced and passionate individual for a full-time Patron Experience Manager position to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in producing or managing events in live theatre, or other applicable experience. The qualified candidate must demonstrate effective problem-solving skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and set priorities and limits effectively in order to accomplish tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a flexible and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the General Manager, the Patron Experience Manager plays an essential role in ensuring that each show runs smoothly and efficiently and that patrons have a welcoming and easy experience as they attend our shows, as well as supporting the organization at it works towards our pillar of radical hospitality. Patron Services Team Members – The Public Theater seeks motivated, outgoing individuals to join our Patron Services Team at performances and events. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a very part-time job or who would like to be paid for the pride and joy they find in being a part of the theater community! Members of our Patron Services Team are employees of The Public Theater of San Antonio, though the time commitment is limited to performances and events (largely evenings and weekends). Currently, Team Members are asked to select their own shifts from those available, allowing for extreme flexibility in each employee’s work schedule. Team Members are trained to serve as Bartenders, Ushers, Box Office Attendants, and House Managers, and are able to serve in any or all of these capacities, pending availability of shifts and desire/availability of the individual. *Patron Services Team Members are required to hold a TABC seller/server permit. Those who are hired without this permit will be required to obtain one at The Public Theater’s cost.
