Overtures Theatre Camp is the perfect introduction to the magical world of theatre for children aged 6-12!
Just like an overture in a musical sets the tone for an exciting story, this camp gives young performers their first glimpse into the thrilling world of the stage.
Campers will learn songs, dances, and scenes from beloved Disney musicals such as Moana, Frozen, Encanto, Mary Poppins, and more! Through engaging activities and hands-on rehearsals, they’ll explore the fundamentals of acting, storytelling, and movement in a fun and supportive environment. Our experienced instructors will guide campers through imaginative exercises that build confidence, encourage teamwork, and spark a love for the performing arts. Whether your child dreams of the spotlight or is simply curious about theatre, this camp is the perfect place to begin their journey.

Yippee Coyote! Theater for Play is a pop-up performing arts program for kids of all ability levels. At Yippee Coyote! the focus on PLAY is essential. We encourage kids to think outside the box, as they build a sense of confidence and develop social skills through creative-based learning. Campers will create a mini play from start to finish; playing theater games and exercises, and implementing their own storyline, characters, costumes, and set pieces based on one of the following class-chosen themes; Fairytale Adventures, Intergalactic Universe, Mythical Creatures, or Video Game Virtual World.

San Pedro Playhouse’s TheatREach program offers a transformative 10-session theater arts experience tailored for historically underserved communities. Designed to empower participants to overcome personal barriers and unlock their potential for personal and professional growth, our program utilizes experiential theater arts activities to cultivate crucial skills such as self-efficacy, emotional resilience, and interpersonal communication. Through creative expression lessons in various mediums including movement, creative writing, and design, participants embark on a journey of self-discovery and skill development. Complemented by classes on life and career visioning, as well as strategies for goal achievement, our program provides a comprehensive approach to empowerment. Participants also enjoy the opportunity to attend two theater shows. Customizable to meet the unique needs of any organization, TheatREach has successfully collaborated with SA Youth and Thrive Youth Center.
