Triple Threat

Theatre Intensive

Give your child the opportunity to shine with the Triple Threat Theatre Intensive at San Pedro Playhouse! Held every Saturday morning, this program is designed to nurture your child’s passion for the arts while developing their acting, singing, and dancing skills. Whether they’re just beginning their theatre journey or looking to take their talents to the next level, our expert instructors will provide personalized guidance and support every step of the way.

Through a mix of fun and engaging workshops, your child will enhance their technical abilities and build confidence and self-expression. They’ll have the chance to make new friends, collaborate with like-minded peers, and be part of a creative community. Plus, the program culminates in a final showcase performance where they can proudly display their growth and achievements on stage.

Our playhouse camps

Join us for an extraordinary Summer in the world of theatre with our Camps at San Pedro Playhouse!

Dive into a range of exciting programs designed to spark creativity, boost confidence, and create lifelong memories. Whether it’s reimagining classic tales or crafting original productions, our camps offer a dynamic space where young performers can truly shine.

Our camps offer an immersive theatrical experience for just $350 per camp, with morning drop-off from 8:45 to 9 a.m. and afternoon pick-up at 3 p.m.

For added convenience and fun, After Care is available from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at $100 per week.

TAP DANCE CLASS

Taught by Jeannine Freeman
Bring the rhythm, energy, and joy of tap to life! This class is perfect for beginners or seasoned dancers looking to sharpen their tap skills in a fun and welcoming environment.

About Jeannine Freeman:
Jeannine is a dedicated dance teacher at The Dance Spot in Round Rock, Texas, with extensive experience in teaching, choreographing, and performing a variety of dance styles. She began her teaching career in 2001 at the age of 15 and has since expanded her expertise to include musical theatre, serving as lead choreographer for Premier Youth Performance group in 2022-2024 at the Wonder Theatre Academy and choreographer for White Christmas at the Woodlawn Theatre in 2022. In addition to her work in the arts, Jeannine manages events for a nonprofit organization that supports educators in integrating technology into the classroom. She values time with family and especially enjoys being an active part of her nieces’ and nephews’ lives.  

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE CLASS

Taught by Jeremiah Jordon
Learn choreography inspired by classic and contemporary musical theatre to boost your audition readiness, strengthen your memory, and sharpen your pickup skills! Each week offers new combos designed to help you adapt quickly, retain choreography, and feel confident in any audition room.

About Jeremiah Jordon:
For the past 10 years, Jeremiah has performed and choreographed all around the state of Texas. As well as in New York and New Jersey. He is proud to say that for the past 7 years, he has choreographed and instructed students in the art of dance at CYT San Antonio and CYT Austin. Most recently was nominated for an ATAC award for choreographing The Color Purple, Texas premiere, Jeremiah has set out to make this one a show that will keep the whole family in awe. Based in the greater Austin area, he has been blessed to be around family and friends that drive him and his work to grow in ways he never thought possible. Equipping those with the talents and skills he has acquired over the years is one of his many passions.

THEATREACH

San Pedro Playhouse’s TheatREach program offers a transformative 10-session theater arts experience tailored for historically underserved communities. Designed to empower participants to overcome personal barriers and unlock their potential for personal and professional growth, our program utilizes experiential theater arts activities to cultivate crucial skills such as self-efficacy, emotional resilience, and interpersonal communication. Through creative expression lessons in various mediums including movement, creative writing, and design, participants embark on a journey of self-discovery and skill development. Complemented by classes on life and career visioning, as well as strategies for goal achievement, our program provides a comprehensive approach to empowerment. Participants also enjoy the opportunity to attend two theater shows. Customizable to meet the unique needs of any organization, TheatREach has successfully collaborated with SA Youth and Thrive Youth Center.
