Our Programs
Embark on an unforgettable theatrical journey with our Camps at San Pedro Playhouse! Offering a variety of engaging programs, we invite young performers to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories. From exploring classic tales to crafting original productions, our camps provide a vibrant and supportive environment where young talents can shine.
Camps are $350 per week.
Morning drop-off between 8:45 – 9 a.m. and afternoon pick-up between 3 – 3:15 p.m.
Extended Play available at $100 per week from 3:15 – 5 p.m.

Show in a Box Camp
Unleash your creativity in our “Show in a Box” camp, where participants become playwrights, set designers, and performers. Campers will craft an original production, from script to stage, exploring the magic of theater creation. Get ready to think outside the box and see your imagination come to life on the stage!

Bite Size Theater Camp
Join us for a week of theatrical fun at Bite Size Theater Camp – where every day brings a new adventure! On Musical Mayhem Monday, campers will immerse themselves in the world of musical theater. Tuesday brings Costume Capers where campers will design and create their own costumes for an impromptu costume parade. Campers will become set designers on Wednesday, unleashing their imagination to create captivating backdrops and props. On Thursday, campers will explore different storytelling techniques, from scriptwriting to improvisation. On our final day, campers will engage in an action-packed Theater Games Galore!

Broadway Extravaganza Camp
Step into the dazzling lights of Broadway – right in your backyard! This immersive experience celebrates the grandeur of Broadway productions. From show-stopping numbers to iconic scenes, participants will explore the essence of Broadway magic, culminating in a spectacular end-of-week showcase.

Fantastic Fairy Tales Camp
Embark on an enchanting adventure in the Fantastic Fairy Tales Camp! Campers will explore classic and contemporary fairy tales, transforming these timeless stories into magical theatrical performances. Dive into the whimsical world of fairytales where every dream takes center stage.

The Wizard of Oz Camp
Follow the yellow brick road to The Wizard of Oz Camp at The Playhouse! Campers will dive into L. Frank Baum’s classic tale, exploring characters, scenes, and the magic of Oz. From acting to set design, campers will bring the beloved story to life in an unforgettable end-of-week showcase.

Wicked Camp
Uncover the untold story of Oz in Wicked Camp. Delve into the captivating characters and rich lore of the hit musical “Wicked.” Campers will explore themes and sing the songs of friendship, acceptance, and the complexities of good and wicked. Get ready for a wickedly good time!

Triple Threat Camp
Become a triple threat in this camp that covers singing, dancing, and acting. Participants will receive training in each discipline, honing their skills to become well-rounded performers. From vocal exercises to choreography, campers will leave with a toolkit of talents ready for the stage.
